Trilogy at Vistancia set to show off trail system
Happy Trails: That’s the welcoming lifestyle message from Trilogy at Vistancia in Peoria.
The 55-plus resort-style community will showcase its trail system, which connects homes to the paths of 7,100-acre master-planned Vistancia, at a grand opening celebration Saturday, Jan. 30, and Sunday, Jan. 31, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
During the two-day event, Trilogy at Vistancia will also debut three floor plans of the Focus Collection: the Optic, 1,447 square feet; Clarity, 1,739 square feet; and the Resolution, 1,966 square feet. The homes are solar ready and offer the Shea Green Space option, which uses a shared homeowner easement to create a private wider expanse of the rear and side yard.
Also scheduled for the event are a live performance from the Thaddeus Rose Band and food trucks from local purveyors such as Queso Good.
“Being active and connecting to the community is at the heart of Trilogy at Vistancia,” said Hal Looney, Arizona Area president, Shea Homes Active Lifestyle Division. “Our members love to walk and jog along the trails in our community. With the unique trail design, our members will get even more out of their hiking experience.”
Trilogy at Vistancia homeowners enjoy 4.5 miles of the Discovery Trail, which explores natural areas and connects people with others in the community. When trails in the new neighborhood are complete, walkers and joggers will have more than nine miles of paths to enjoy, with those living on interior lots able to access the network from just beyond their back yard. And, this neighborhood system will eventually connect with the 25-mile community-wide Vistancia trails.
Shea Homes started development of Trilogy at Vistancia in 2004, and plans call for 1,000 more homes in addition to the approximately 2,300 existing ones. The build-out at 3,300-plus is expected by 2020.
Trilogy communities are designed as resortlike communities, focusing on a lifestyle comprising health and wellness, exploration and continued learning and close personal connections, Looney said.
“Shea Homes prides itself on not only building homes but also building a community,” he said. “Life here is all about connecting, not only with other people but also with the beautiful Sonoran landscape surrounding the community.”
A prominent feature at Trilogy is the 35,000-square-foot Kiva Club, an athletic and wellness center with resort-style accommodations. Among the amenities are 27 clubs to join and meet other members, the Alvea Spa, Café Solaz, outdoor resort pool and spa, indoor Olympic-style pool, tennis and pickleball courts, and V’s Taproom, with an all-day menu. And, golfers enjoy the par-72, 18-hole daily-fee Trilogy at Vistancia Golf Course.
Later this year, The Mita Club will open as a second community venue, featuring spaces such as culinary and artisan studios.
